King Charles III Whole School Tea Party

As part of the national celebration for the King’s Coronation taking place on Saturday 6th May,  we are holding a whole school ‘King’s Coronation Tea Party Day’ in school on Friday 5th May.

On Friday 5th May, we will be asking pupils and staff to dress in something red, white or blue and celebrate the big event with us all here in school.  We will be holding a whole school tea party outside (weather permitting) in the afternoon for the children.

What to bring:

We are asking families to please provide a small food donation for children to share, if you are able to. Please remember: We are a nut free school, and it is extremely important that donations do not contain nuts.

To help provide a variety of food for the children to enjoy at the party, we are asking KS1 children (children in Classes 1 and 2) to bring in something sweet to share with friends at the party and KS2 children (children in Classes 3,4 and 5) to bring in something savoury to donate to the party.

If you have children in both Key Stages, please make one donation per family.

It would also be helpful for as many children to bring a picnic blanket with them on the day too please. 🙂

If you have any questions, please get in touch.
